| Now in its 16th year, the Fire Island Dance Festival brings a weekend of performances by top international dance companies to a stage overlooking the Great South Bay.
This sunset performance is only open to sponsors.
The Fire Island Dance Festival features stars of acclaimed dance companies performing to benefit Dancers Responding to AIDS (DRA), a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The roster of performers has included Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Cedar Lake Ensemble, Complexions, C. Eule Dance, Mark Morris Dance Group, Martin Lofsnes, MOMIX, nicholasleichterdance, Terry Dean Bartlett/ STREB, Timothy Bish & Tony James (dancers from Movin’ Out and Disney’s The Lion King), Stephen Petronio Company, Washington Ballet and DRA Fanfare with new choreography by Ron deJesus. |
